Petrol prices

How the price of petrol affects family all over the UK.

The price of petrol is very expensive and a lot of families find it difficult to pay for other things such as, food, new clothes and other things that all families need.

If families go camping and drive there they think it will be a lot cheaper than going on a train or coach but really it just cost the same due to the prices of petrol because you may have to fill up your petrol tank along they way.

A lot of people car share, this means that they take other people that go to the same work as them in the same car. This is a great way to save money.

It also annoys parents because their children keep asking for thing but parents have to say no otherwise they wont have enough money to pay for bills, shopping and other things.

Over all

I interviewed three teachers and they have all said that they spend between £70-£100 each week just on petrol.

They have all said they want the prices to go down as it’s just too much money to go to and from work each day.

They have also said that the amount of money has a massive affect on their lives. They say they struggle to pay for food and to pay of the bills so they need the prices to go down a lot.

I personally agree with them all. I agree that petrol is expensive and I understand that the affect it has on families is massive.

One teacher said that she has had enough with paying a lot of money each week when she only drive for about 3miles just to get to and from work each day.

How could we save money?
Car share.
Lots of people car share and they have found out that they can save up to £20 pounds each week if they car share.
That is a lot of money they save each week
